# How to Set Up the Shipping Protection Widget on the Checkout Page

### Overview

Shopify currently only allows checkout page customization for **Shopify Plus** stores.\
This means only Shopify Plus stores can add and configure the Checkout page widget.

### Quick Setup

#### Step 1

Go to **Protection Widget → Checkout Page**, then click **Go to Checkout Editor**.

#### Step 2

In the Shopify Checkout Editor:

1. Click **Add app block**

2. Select and add **“Protectify Protection”,** Click **Add to Checkout**

3. Confirm the insurance style and amount are displayed correctly

4. Click **Save** to apply your changes

#### Step 3

After adding the widget, you can click the **back arrow (top left)** to return to the editor and adjust the widget’s position on the page as needed.

#### Final Step

Return to **Protection Widget → Checkout Page** in Protectify and click **Publish** to activate the widget.

Once published, please visit your store’s live Checkout page to test and ensure the widget displays and functions correctly.

### If You Encounter Any Issues

If you experience any problems:

* Turn off the widget toggle inside the app\
  (No need to remove the app block from the Checkout Editor.)
* Once turned off, the widget will no longer appear on your Checkout page.
